Problem:

When a car is parked for an extended period—whether it's weeks or months—the battery can drain due to parasitic draw. Modern vehicles are equipped with various electronic systems that continue to consume power even when the car is turned off. Components such as alarm systems, clock displays, etc, can gradually deplete the battery’s charge. 

Solution:

The HCE battery isolation switch is a high quality and practical solution to isolate the battery from the electronics that create parasitic draw. All materials and components used in the kit are the highest quality possible.

Features:

- A bracket assembly with an industrial design that follows the firewall line for a more compact and integrated look. Easily reachable from the front and sides of the car.

- Two piece bracket design that presents the switch at an angle towards the user. 

- Mounts to the firewall without any drilling, cutting, or modification. The bracket assembly uses existing mounting points. Installation of the bracket assembly takes only a few minutes at most.

- Cabling that is long enough to be tucked out of sight behind the blower motor. 

- Compatible with spare tire.

- A disconnect switch rated for 1000 cranking amps. Switches are sourced from an ISO supplier and go through an HCE post process to increase strength and durability. 

- New ground cables are batch manufactured in-house from true motorsport grade 1 AWG copper cable with hydraulically crimped terminals. No other kit offers this quality or size of cabling. This size of cabling is a step up from OEM.

- Our cable has a TPE (FT1) outer jacket that is oil, water, acid, abrasion, and fuel resistant with an operating temperature range of 49°C to 105°C. It maintains flexibility in cold weather. The inner jacket is a white vinyl separator for additional safety and flexibility. The white inner jacket and black outer jacket contrast allow for easy identification of damage such as wear or cuts.

Materials:

- .125" thick 5052 aluminum bracket assembly with class II hard anodization. Brackets are tumbled, media blasted, acid etched, and finally anodized for a durable finish that won’t chip with time. 

- 1000 cranking amp rated switch, reinforced by HCE, from an ISO supplier

- 1 AWG annealed all copper motorsport ground cables with hydraulically crimped ends. 

- All necessary installation hardware.
