Climate Control Knobs - S2000 (00-09) - Aluminum

The integrated indicator marker is designed to allow light transfer,
replicating original functionality for clear visibility and accurate
adjustment in low-light conditions.

Unlike aging plastic, these aluminum components resist deformation and
surface degradation, maintaining their structural integrity and finish
over the long term.

Every set of climate control knobs is individually test-fitted before
packaging. This allows us to verify the fitment and engagement of the
mounting tabs prior to shipment.

Fitment & Installation Protocol

Cavity Inspection

Age and environmental exposure can cause dirt, residue, and debris to
accumulate inside the factory control unit cavity. Inspect the control
shaft and cavity before installation and ensure the area is clean.

Tight Fit Adjustment

If the knob is excessively tight on your vehicle, use a 5mm Allen wrench
to carefully and slightly widen the mounting tabs. Make only small
adjustments and test the fit frequently. Do not force the knob onto the
control shaft.

Loose Fit Adjustment

If the knob is too loose on your vehicle, use pliers to gently tighten
the mounting tabs. Make small adjustments based on the fit of your
individual vehicle and test the knob after each adjustment.

Important Fitment Notice

All climate control knobs are individually test-fitted before they are
packaged and shipped. However, variations in the condition, age, wear, and
dimensions of the factory climate control assembly may affect the final fit
on your vehicle.

Minor adjustment may be required for proper fitment. If the knobs are too
tight, carefully widen the mounting tabs using a 5mm Allen wrench. If the
knobs are too loose, gently tighten the tabs with pliers. Adjust gradually
and test the fit frequently.

Do not force, over-expand, bend, or otherwise excessively manipulate the
mounting tabs. Damage caused by improper installation, excessive force,
over-adjustment, or other negligence is not covered by MITA Motorsports.
Broken mounting tabs resulting from customer adjustment or installation are
not eligible for replacement. If the tabs are damaged, a new set of knobs
must be purchased.
