Installation Guide:
Step 1: Prepare for Installation
Locate the original higher hood hinge bolt on both sides of the hood.
Loosen the original higher hood hinge bolt using the appropriate tools.
Fix the bracket provided in the kit to the position of the loosened bolt.
Tighten the bracket securely using the original bolt.
Ensure the installation is symmetrical for both the left and right sides.
Step 2: Fender Bolt Installation
Identify and loosen fender bolt on both sides of the vehicle.
Attach the provided washer and screw to the loosened fender bolt.
Fasten the washer and screw securely in place.
Step 3: Install Struts
Align the struts with the ball studs on the higher brackets.
Insert the struts into the ball studs on the higher brackets.
Secure the bottom of the struts using the provided screws.
Note: If the joints have pins, remove the pin (metal wire) before fixing the joint to the ball stud. After fixing, put the pin back to lock the joint securely.
Completion and Inspection
After installation, inspect the entire setup to ensure all components are securely fastened.
Test the bonnet dampers to confirm smooth operation.
